Eye & Retina Surgeons sent a team of doctors to participate in this international meeting for cataract and refractive surgeons in Australia.

Dr Chan Wing Kwong spoke on various aspects of LASIK refractive surgery. He organized and coordinated the whole refractive surgery programme.

Dr Adrian Koh spoke on updates in age related macular degeneration in the retinal updates symposium.

Dr Yeoh won the best film award for Cataract Surgery in the annual Australian Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (AUSCRS) meeting which was held jointly with the Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (APACRS)Meeting. This was a joint meeting of AUSCRS and APACRS called ‘FUSION’ and it was held in Cairns, Australia from 1 to 4 July 2010.

Dr Yeoh’s educational movie highlighted the issues related to hydrodissection of the cataractous nucleus, one of the key steps in successful cataract surgery.

He was also an instructor in a Masterclass on Refixing Subluxated Lens Implants with Prof Alan Crandall from USA and Prof Chee Soon Phaik of Singapore.
